Team Leader Kedar Gogte
an avid nature lover, has extensive experience of arranging
and leading treks.
He has done his basic mountaineering course from N.I.M (Uttarkashi)
in 1986. He has extensively trekked the Sahyadri ranges. In 1987 he has climbed the highest peak "Mon" in Dhauladhar range of
Himalayas. In 1989 he has trekked in Kanchanganga base (Gochala) and
Sikkim.
Other than these he has done various high altitude treks in various
parts of Himalayas including Garhawal, Himachal, Sikkim, and
Kashmir.
He has also to his credit, climbing the highest mountain in Zimbabwe
- Africa named Iniyangani.
His other hobbies include Gliding, for which he is a holder of
Glider Pilots License ( Govt. of India) and Cycling, where he has
been to major parts of Southern India. He is a member of Cycle
Tourist Association, which has carried out trips as far
as Japan. He was a state level judo player. Paragliding,
white water rafting, sailing and windsurfing are some of the
other activities that interest him.
