Suggested Itinerary
- Day 01: Arrive in Leh
- Arrive in Leh by morning flight. Transfer from Airport to Hotel. Rest day for acclimatization.
- Day 02: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La (115 km/4 hours)

The region comprising the valley of the Shayok and Nubra rivers is known as Nubra. Nubra means green & in Nubra valley there is a grand mixture of greenery
in the otherwise arid landscape. Water is the source of life & that can clearly be seen here as villages are absolutely green in the brown surroundings.
Today we cross the world’s highest motorable pass – Khardung la (18380 ft.) & go to Nubra Valley. Reach Sumur village in time for lunch.
Afternoon: Relax & enjoy beautiful surroundings.
Evening: Visit Sumur Samtaling Monasrery & go to the Panamic hot water springs. The road beyond Panamic goes to Siachin glacier (90 kms) & tourists are not allowed
to go further. On the way back, one can do a small trek to Yarab Tso – a small holy lake.
- Day 03: Nubra to Pangong Tso (128 kms/4-5 Hrs.)

After breakfast we check out & go to Diskit Monastery & then to Hunder. In Hunder one can have the pleasure of riding Double Humped Camels (Bacterian Camels) on
sand-dunes surrounded by snow clad cliffs.
Afternoon: Proceed to Pangong Lake. Night halt at Pangong Tso in tented accommodation.
Note: If the road from Nubra Valley to Pangong Tso is closed, we will return to Leh for overnight halt and will do a day-trip to Pangong Tso on the following day.
- Day 04: Pangong Tso to Leh (140 kms)

Pangong is situated at an altitude of about 15000 ft. Only 30% of the lake is in India, rest is in China. One has to actually see it to know its beauty & admire it.
Today we cross Chang La (17586 ft) & go back to Leh.
- Day 05: Leh local sightseeing

After breakfast visit the Hall of Fame – War Memorial. Proceed to Thiksey Monastery. Afternoon free for rest or market. Visit the Shanti Stupa in the evening to enjoy a splendid
view of the setting Sun.
- Day 06: Airport transfer for return flight.
